Why you should use BEST

Installation of "BEST" in the tyres, guarantees improvement in three basic factors: Savings, Safety and Comfort while driving.

a. Savings

Using "BEST" , your vehicles, will very rarely have a flat tyre, therefore the efficiency of your fleet will increase and downtime for vehicles and drivers will be avoided. Services to your clients will be provided according to the schedule, creating a credible image for the company. Factors of direct and indirect savings:

  • Downtime until the repair or the replacement of a tyre.

    The cost of a puncture for heavy vehicle consists of:

    1. The hours that the vehicle cannot be used up to the repair (expected turnover)
    2. The payment of the driver or the assistant worker for these hours (wages)
    3. Services not provided in scheduled time
  • Cost of repair or replacement. Frequently this cost may be proved very high depending on the repair. The repairman may not be able to do his work on site, so he must remove the tyre from the vehicles, take it to his premises, repair it and take it back to the vehicle where he must put it on again.

    All this cost, even for one repair, may be much higher than the installation of "BEST"

  • Prolongation of tyre lifetime up to 25% or more. Using "BEST" the lifetime of your tyres will increase because of the three following factors:

    1. If we assume that a tyre will never have any puncture, this does not mean that it will not lose air pressure, due to porosity leaks. As the tyre pressure decreases, a larger tread area is touching the road surface, the tyre strains, the friction is much higher and the tread area is overheated. As a result the tread, as well as the sidewall of the tyres wear down. Also sidewall becomes softer therefore tyre is flexing more than designed. This increases the aging of the tyre and decreases radically its lifetime
    2. Rubber is a poor thermal conductor. As a result, heat which is created does not spread to the rest of the tyre mass. That means that a thermal border is created and neighboring areas of rubber have big thermal differences. This is the main cause of material aging. As a result old tyres have a rigid in the area between the tread and the sidewall.
    3. Tyre rotation, even on a completely flat surface on road, creates a thermal strain to the metal frame. If we focus on a certain area of the tread, the very moment that this area is in touch with the road, it is flat ( following the shape of the road surface) . As the tyre rotates, the next moment, this area is no longer flat because it is no longer in touch with the ground. The rubber of the area and its metal frame, is curved following the shape of the tyre. That means that the metal frame, under examination, oscillates continuously. The frequency of this oscillation, calculated for a tyre of 65 cm diameter, moving with a velocity of 100 Km/h, is 13.6 times per second or 49,000 times per hour. This inevitable oscillation or flexing strains thermally the metal frame.

    "BEST" is an excellent thermal conductor, discharges the thermal strain, that is it smoothes out the thermal differences of neighboring area and indirectly "cools" the metal frames. Also "BEST" is a colloidal resin and absorbes heat in order to become a better glue. As a result the tyres run much cooler.

  • Fuel economy, due to the air of the tyre being kept at the manufacturer's level.

    As analyzed above, loss of air pressure causes increase of the tread area, which is in touch with the ground surface. This fact increases the friction, which is the force that stops the motion of the car. The motor must outcome these forces, thus wearing it out, increasing the fuel consumption and the frequency of necessary maintenance.

 

b. Safety

Safety is even more important than savings as it includes the safety of the vehicles as well as the safety of the passengers, not to mention the indirect spoil of the image of the business, if a company vehicle is involved in a serious accident.

By using "BEST" the following risks are avoided:

  • Blow-outs.
    Everyone knows how dangerous a blow-out can be, and how many are heard of, every day. There are many reasons causing a blow-out and frequently a combination of them is responsible for such a dangerous situation.

    While "BEST" seals every puncture that is described in the guarantee, it CANNOT GUARANTEE that the tyres will never blow-out because it cannot guarantee for every air loss especially from cuts in the side-walls, which are the basic reason for blow-outs. But it is obvious that although it cannot seal the puncture it will decelerate the immediate air lose thus minimize the possibilities of a fatal accident.

  • Danger from a repair.
    It is a very distressing experience, probably fatal, to change a tyre on high-speed roads with vehicles rushing by at a speed of 120 or more kilometers per hour. Can you imagine a driver trying to change his tyre, turning his back on such a highway?

 

c. Comfort

Vehicles are used either as a tool or as a means of entertainment and therefore must provide comfort to the drivers and the passengers. "BEST" guarantees you won't get a flat tyre:

  • On your very important date. Drivers are always in the doubt of having a flat tyre at the most inconvenient time, either it's their work they have to get to, an important meeting or even their own wedding.
  • In the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. This is possible. What would a women driver do in the middle of nowhere alone?
  • You won't get your hands and clothes dirty at the most awkward time, etc.
  • In bad weather conditions (snow, rain, heat, etc.)
